STEP 1: Pour one package of Shorty & Wags batter mix into a medium bowl. Slowly mix in one cup of cold water. Stir until smooth. Batter should be the consistency of thin pancake batter. Add more water a little at a time until desired consistency is acquired.
Place rinsed wings into a large bowl, pour batter mix over wings. Mix batter and wings by hand until wings are covered evenly.
Heat oil in deep fryer to 350 degrees. Drop wings into oil one at a time making sure you do not overfill fryer. Use tongs to keep wings from sticking together and cook for approximately 10-13 minutes, depending on size of wings.
Place cooked wings in a large bowl or pan, baste all sides of the wings with melted butter or margarine. Sprinkle with Shorty & Wags famous seasoning. Toss wings and season again to desired taste.
